Plenty of names circulate around GTA 6 that Rockstar has never confirmed. This guide only covers characters the studio has actually named and profiled on its official channels, protagonists first, then the confirmed supporting cast.

Quick Answer

Rockstar has officially confirmed two playable protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, plus seven named supporting characters: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, Brian Heder, and the rap duo Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy). A handful of additional names (Lori, Stefanie, Mendez, Wyman, DWNPLY) have appeared in official trailers or bios without full character profiles yet.

The Two Protagonists

Lucia Caminos

Lucia is the series' first non-optional female protagonist in a mainline GTA game. Per Rockstar's official character description, she grew up in Liberty City, was later incarcerated at Leonida Penitentiary, and was taught to fight by her father from a young age. Trailer 2 opens with her release from prison.

Jason Duval

Jason grew up around grifters and con artists, spent time in the Army, and later worked around criminal contacts in the Florida Keys. Trailer 2 frames much of its runtime through his perspective, waiting for and reconnecting with Lucia.

Rockstar describes their relationship as a "Bonnie and Clyde"-style criminal partnership, the emotional core of the story, not a side detail. In solo play, you can switch between the two, continuing the multi-protagonist mechanic introduced in GTA V.

Confirmed Supporting Characters

Rockstar has published official profiles or named these characters directly alongside Trailer 2 and subsequent official materials:

Character What's confirmed
Cal Hampton Jason's friend and associate; described as a homebody who monitors Coast Guard radio chatter
Boobie Ike Named in Rockstar's official supporting cast; specific role not yet detailed
Dre'Quan Priest Named in Rockstar's official supporting cast; specific role not yet detailed
Raul Bautista Described as a charming, reckless bank robber who recruits others for high-risk scores
Brian Heder Runs operations tied to a boat yard; connected to Lori (below)
Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe & Roxy) A rap duo woven into Leonida's music scene

Named, But Not Fully Profiled Yet

A few additional names have appeared in official Rockstar material (trailers or partial bios) without a full standalone character profile:

  • Lori (Heder), Brian Heder's wife, shown handling weapons in trailer footage
  • Stefanie, Lucia's correctional social worker, the first voice heard in Trailer 1
  • Mendez, A Vice City Police Department officer shown with prior knowledge of Jason and Lucia
  • Wyman, A mechanic and fixer connected to a car-restoration side activity
  • DWNPLY, A local rapper tied to Real Dimez's music

What This Guide Deliberately Leaves Out

Numerous other names circulate across GTA 6 fan communities, sourced from unofficial leaks, actor-casting speculation, or unconfirmed community tracking. None of that is included here, this guide only reflects characters Rockstar itself has named through official trailers, bios, or its own GTA 6 site. If Rockstar confirms more characters ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch, we'll update this piece.
